I started gaming 1972 when my older brother taught me chess. Then in 1974 my Dad bought me an my brothers Avalon Hill's Tactics II and Panzer Blitz. I began RPGs in 1986 with AD&D 1st Edition. Began playing GURPS in 1988. I am an Omni-Gamer: I own and play all kinds of games (i.e. boardgames, card games, RPGs, mini games, etc.). I am a Science Fiction/Fantasy fan: my favorite SF author is Frank Herbert, and my favorite Fantasy author is Robert E. Howard; but I love all kinds of SF/Fantasy in print, movie and T.V. forms (far too many to list here). I am also a Historian (although I do not work as one), and my favorite branch is Military History.
